Delivering Good Governance and Institutional Frameworks
This theme prioritizes delivering good governance and institutional accountability to restore public trust. Key initiatives include strengthening the rule of law through an independent judiciary and reforming national security to protect the welfare of all citizens. The framework also highlights the importance of devolution, moving political and financial power to the county level to ensure local ownership and community participation. To ensure transparency, the manifesto commits to aggressive anti-corruption measures, civil service reforms based on merit, and the continuous evolution of democratic institutions.
This theme includes the following Governance Aspirations:
- National Security & Rule of Law: Guarantee sovereignty and public safety through a multifaceted, community-coordinated approach.
- Devolution: Truly devolve political, financial, and administrative powers to the county level to foster grassroots accountability.
- Anti-Corruption: Strengthen the EACC’s independence and enhance enforcement mechanisms to prevent the misappropriation of funds.
- Public Service & Democracy: Transition the civil service into a merit-based, high-performance institution while adapting democratic systems to be more transparent.
